That´s awesome news. As i was in Embraer at the moment of the delivery of first ever E195 which went to FlyBe, the G-FBEA, test registration PT-SOD, i like it so much. Look at walkarounds session, i did the walkaround of it. I´m interested in this kit.

That´s correct, will be HKG-SIN flight.
Fleet age average in SIA was never more than 10 year old.
B744 entered service in 1989 in Northwest Airlines, but a little bit less than last 10 years in SIA fleet. Queen of the skies never got old, its the mature age

about SE, ST, LU and LR i´m not sure but i guess it is something like standard range and longer range, also fuel capacity, and and differences on stretch versions.for list production search on http://www.airfleets.net/

With the deal approved CO will be merged into UA and CO will be no more. I love the line about the “NEW AIRLINE” will be called UNITED AIRLINES. One wonders will the Continental Airlines influence bring up the standards and quality of the current United Airlines or will United Airlines way of doing things lower that of Continental ? Also the statement “This merger of equals will create the world’s leading airline….” bear in mind is just marketing/advertizing. When I read this statement I was thinking “the bigger they are the harder they fall” – Time will tell I guess.

I’d kind of like to see them keep two seperate entities like Air France/KLM but I don’t think they will.. Although mergers have good and bad point I don’t think they had much of a choice but to merge after DL/NW and AF/KL so best of luck to them.

No offense intended! Actually it’s lisa, (I shouldn’t have capitalized it.) Apparently, it’s the Spanish term for mullet. While this probably isn’t the proper venue for this tale, the old story goes that a man was arrested in Florida for netting mullet without a fishing license. He successfully defended himself to the judge by showing that the critter in question had a gizzard, and, hence, was not a fish at all, but a bird! You can Google the mullet/lisa/gizzard part of this story. It seems that they are considered a delicacy in some places. :GJeez! These posts do take strange paths! I’m just hawking some freakin’ resin parts!

I have ordered a lot of decals from raffachris as well. The quality of Giodecals has very much improved since the older Brasildecal period. But some 2 out of 4 parcels never arrived to me (from Brazil to Germany) – at least umtil today. I ordered them in October or November 2009. The last parcel then arrived by registered airmail without problem.I would have prefered to get the decals shipped by courier (DHL, FedEx UPS or whatever), but raffachris did not (want to?) follow my request. Sometimes he answers to emails, sometimes he ignores them. Finally now he seems to have blocked my ebay-account and does not accept orders from me anymore.
Also that parcels I received did not always include exactly the things I ordered….So if you order from him be aware there is a certain risk that it will not work out good at the end and you might burn some money.It is really a pity as he offers some really great decal schemes we cannot find anywhere else in the world.

I didn´t know Brazildecal turned into Giodecals…and don´t understand why he changed the name….i have almost all Brasildecal produced sheets, all of them, just don´t have 1 or 2 and i find them good. You´re right, most of them we cannot find anywhere else in the world…
From Brazil Marcelo the MASP user, which does decals seem to be a lot more reliable than raffachris. I ordered about 147 decals from him and everything was delivered correctly.

Even decals for this scale are not many as for 1/144th. Someone should make more decals for 1/100th.Speaking about 1/125th Heller i find them not accurate models and don´t like them.

In 1984 i flown on a 737-200 of Lan Chile from Montevideo to Santiago and back to Montevideo was on a 707-330B which was a great flight. At that same year i had the opportunity to fly on the Lan Chile DC-10-30 from Santiago to Puerto Montt. Wow…were great times i remember, and can´t forget that!
