Thanks for your input.  Scotty above put a sheet up with numbers that showed “Overall Length” and “Fuselage Length”.  I was measuring strictly the fuselage length and the information I was referencing was the Overall Length, which in the grand scheme of things was about the same difference between a -10 and a -30.

Great comparison of the three DC-9 kits.  However, I’m having an issue that Airfix, Fly and EE are calling these kits -30’s.  I could be way off base and if I am, feel free to correct me.  It seems to me that dimensionally all three of these DC-9’s are not -30’s, but -15’s. You might take your decals to a shop that sells nail polish.  I did that for my Aer Lingus Airbus and found a color that is almost a perfect match for the decals.  Just a thought.
