But the description there suggests that this antenna is just for the A318/319/320/321. Is that correct? Which one should it be? The gear details just go on externally, whereas antennas, vents and the like require some drilling. I haven’t gotten to the main gears yet. But they don’t look unmanageable. I’ve done the main gear doors though. Those really do look quite spectacular.

I have the Metallic Details set but have only partly installed it so far, as my 747-400 (Dragon) is still in an intermediate build stage. The parts in general are of high quality and will obviously improve the kit. The best thing about the kit are the various antennas, inlets, vents and probes which are a real value added. I am more skeptical…Read more

That looks really nice, but you should also extend the oleo for the nose gear. It looks weighted.

Hi there,

Quick question: I’m toying with the idea of building a Delta A321neo using the Zvezda 1/144 kit. Now, the Delta birds have the P&W GTF engines. Does the Zvezda kit come with the CFMs or P&W?

I am not seeing any aftermarket PW1133 engines in 1/144 either, should a switch be needed. Anyone know of any? I see that LACI has the PW1127. I have to agree on Zvezda their kits are gems, I love the 320 series that has the dropped flaps and slats. I wish all airliner kits had that option.

Another vote for the Zvezda 1/144 A320 specifically. It was the first kit I built after a 2 1/2 decade hiatus from scale modeling and I was shocked…Read more

Some airlines do try to reserve sequential series of number/letter combinations for fleets of aircraft. But since there is generally no rhyme or reason to N-numbers prescribed by the FAA, any one number in the series may not be available because it is assigned to some one off (usually private) aircraft. So, e.g., you might find a sequential series…Read more
