Hello friends,
Let me present to you my new artwork of ROLLS-ROYCE RB211-524 EARLY VERSION ENGINES in 1/144 scale for Boeing 747- 100/200/300/SP kits.
Here’s the result:
Finally I’ve got a kit of 4 engines:
A set for each engine consists of 7 parts. The parts are the same for all engines, except for the pylons; they are different for inboard and outboard engines. The separation of parts makes painting and assembling as easy as possible, and very fast.
I designed decals of course (Qantas logo included)
I give them in high resolution to clear what is where below. The assembly is as usual for my kits.
The nacelle halves painted inside; the Fan ring decal was applied.
Now before joining the halves it’s easy to attach masking tape for future and glue fan and spinner in.If you want to get the maximum effect from metal paints, the corresponding part should be covered with black glossy paint and polished.
Hot sections assembly:
I’d advise to fit pylon to wing before painting.
I shared my experience how to force a pylon to match the wing perfectly quite easy and quickly here:

I have already started to complete preorders in the sequence I received them.
Anyone else interested please contact me directly by email druzdruz@yahoo.com or svdruz@gmail.com or viber / whatsapp +79286253005.
Direct price is 29 USD; Shipping for a set is $ 6 worldwide by airmail registered. Each additional +$ 2.Thank you for your attention!

these engines are just wonderful!Especially when looking at your last image, showing the engine intake, it looks like a photo of the real thing!

Are you considering to supply the engine decals seperately?
This may make sense for the engines already provided with the AA kits (e.g. the CF6-50 for the DC-10).Spassibo bolschoja,

What about the PW 4056, RR, GE engines for the B-744? Please tell us which one you will be releasing first.

June 16, 2020 at 4:33 am #159085Hello friends,
As I mentioned all my kits will come with laser printed decals.
They are neither worse nor better in quality than the ones I printed but they are with white color. The presence of white color gives a great advantage when the engine nacelles are in a dark livery, for example British Airways.
I can ship white decal sheet to everyone who has already received the kit along with any next set. Just let me know.
From now the kit comes with new decal!

June 21, 2020 at 8:35 pm #159121Hello,
Back to modelling after an almost decade long pause.
Sergey, your engine sets look splendid, I am very happy to at long last be able to model some rare RR-powered Queen of the Skies.
Sorry if it is off-topic : do you plan to release the RB211-524G/H that powered the 747-400 and 767-300 ?
Cheers, Stephane
