I was curious to know if this 2024 release was the plastic from 25 years ago (Lufthansa/Austrian faces) or an A321ceo with the same fuselage as kit 04952 (A321neo) from 2019. Confirmed new plastic with winglets as the Condor bird requires with more detailed CFM engines. Will likely build as a Delta machine. Not up for the challenge of the Condor vacations scheme. 🙁
Discovering Clint Groves and his ATP/Airliners America catalog in the late '70s made me realize I wasn't the only hobbyist with an interest in building airliner models. Beginning with Aurora kits and now enjoying the latest offerings from Revell Germany and Zvezda in 1/144 scale, it's been a fun ride.
<!–more–>The plastic seems to be the same, but the mold is getting worn out, lots of flash and dents. The wheels were especially bad and out of round. Here’s my Condor, not my choice but my grandson insisted. It was a challenge, but the hobby is building models.
