Would anyone have knowledge of an Eastern Express/Micro Mir 1/144 scale MD-11 with Pratt & Whitney engines included in the kit? All the kits I can find that are available have GE engines (except the Authentic Airliners kits…I am specifically looking for the EE kit). Has anyone seen one? Were they ever made? Know of availability? Know of aftermarket P&W engines for this kit?

I remember asking at the time and being told that a PW-powered variant was planned. However, to my knowledge it hasn’t yet made it to market.

On the side of the box of one of EE’s MD-11 kits is a picture of a P&W powered JAL ‘J-Bird’ MD-11. Presumably this was to represent a forthcoming release although nothing has been seen or heard of it other than the picture on the box.

Hello, friends
As PW 4056 engines for B 747-400 are on my workbench
I can release PW 4460/4462 for MD-11 in a reasonable time.Unfortunately I don’t have MD-11 kit but I have DC-10 kit
It seems to me that both kits have the same second engine flanges.
Can someone check this for me (just compare dimensions 1 and 2) to save time on purchasing a MD-11 set?
