Mackey DC6’s – Were any painted in EA hockey stick?

Hi,

Here is a question for our S. Florida old-timers. When Eastern Airlines took over Mackey Airlines in January1967, Mackey had a small fleet of DC-6’s that remained in service for about a year after the official merger/takeover.

Question:

Were any of those DC-6’s ever painted in the EA hockey stick paint scheme?…..or did they just fly in Mackey paint until withdrawal in December 1967? 

I’m not sure when EA pulled them from active passenger service (may have been earlier than December)…but I was just curious if any were ever repainted into EA colors.

Any help appreciated.
