Look up London VAAS. and you will see the “Official” Notice about the Volcanic Eruption from the Aviation standpoint, in terms of current conditions, and flight status.

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, UK.Partial closures:
Belarus: No flights between 7,000-11,000m (23,000-36,000 ft)
Croatia: (North-western airspace closed)
France (northern airspace, including Paris, closed until Monday morning)
Italy (northern airspace closed until 1800 GMT Saturday)
Lithuania (air traffic control leaving decision to fly to individual companies)
Norway (limited flights in north)
Serbia.Flights operating:
Spain, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey.It may remains for days, airlines losses are millions $$$$$$$$$$$, people are stranded and getting boats, trains, whatever transportation but airplanes.

Out walking the dog when a plane flew over. Nearly everybody stopped and looked up at the sky. It was like being transported back 100 years in time when it was a sensation if you saw a plane!

Actually the airspace and all international airports in Southern Germany, area Stuttgart, Lake Danube and southern Bavaria, area Munich are closed.
