I always hear them saying that open cabin windows on airliners were filled with “Micro Kristal Klear”. How do you do that? I know that stuff can fill a flat opening, but it shrinks and thins at the center giving a center clearly concaved, depressed & visible when dry. As bad as that is, its worse on curved window panels as it also dries flat. So how do you get a curved glass panel window? Adding a second layer atop the first dried portion gives an outline of the first and still remains flat and not clear. Is there an blanking material secured to the outer surface curve that allows the “Klear” to set-up after pouring it from the inner side? And if so what is it?
