Hello friends,
Let me present to you my new artwork of GE CF 6-80C2 engines for MD-11 in 1/144 scale.As always the separation of parts makes painting and assembling as easy as possible, and very fast.
The decals are laser printed with white color by PAS.
The assembly is as usual for my kits.
The nacelle halves painted inside; the fan ring decal applied. Before joining the halves it’s easy to attach masking tape for future and glue fan and spinner in.
The cones of the hot section come in two versions:
Actually I decided to make this set because those engines that are included in the Eastern Express kit are very unfriendly to painting
A friend of mine did a serious surgery on them to properly paint the nacelles inside

In addition one more thing:
the engraving of all the pylons is just a figment of the imagination of the model designer and has nothing to do with reality
