Edit?

I must be missing something…..How does one edit a posting? I went to change a posting as my spelling is atrocious and can’t find an edit button. I am using Safari on an ipad /imac. I tried it on Google chrome as well.  Any ideas.

Of course Edit button shows up on this posting ???? lol.

So if we discover an error that is past the twenty minutes can we delete the post and post again?

What if someone decides they didn’t like a response and goes back to edit their post 3 days later or completely wipes it out?

Not sure what the answer is Ahmed.

In a posting I made an error in my verbage and can’t correct it, change it, or delete and repost……hence the questions.

Maybe let contributors do their thing and hopefully with known folks it doesn’t run amuck.

I can increase it to 30 minutes, but I’m not sure if that will be much help.  I always proof-read my post right after hitting the submit button, and sometimes I do catch errors and maybe think of a better way of saying something.  But anything longer than that, I think is asking for trouble.

Let me know which post it is, here or by PM, and I can fix it.

I lost my images from my photo site. I fixed them at the photo site but how do I replace them here? Is there a way to edit posts and add photos back in?

No, unfortunately not.  This is why using external sites for images is highly discouraged, as I have mentioned in several places on the site.  External images seem to disappear over time.
