Hello,
I just purchased a few sets of engines by Druz, And was wandering , what is the best method out there to attach the pylons to the wing? I did see the Article on airlinercafe on how to do it. But I was wondering if there are other ways.
Thank you
Ed

You’ll need CA for everything. Some of the pylons have an annoying mold stump
that must be sanded away. You can either attach directly if the wing is slotted (as
in the 787/777) or butt join if necessary. Many use locator pins drilled onto the pylon
mount with corresponding holes in the lower wing to make the attachment more
robust.

February 24, 2024 at 7:49 pm #245067Does anyone have a link to Druz site? I might be interested in something if they make 72nd scale engines. Thanks, Fred K.

February 25, 2024 at 7:02 pm #245073Hello friends!
Let me provide you with an actual list of my products.
Some of them now come with etched parts.

February 26, 2024 at 8:41 pm #245082Wow! Those are really nice! Any plans to do any engines in 1/72nd scale? The Mach 2 DC-8 and 727 could really use some engine replacements. No doubt the DC-9 too. Regards, Fred.

September 21, 2025 at 3:19 pm #249398Hello friends,
Since the release of my first set of engines in 2019
I have never raised the prices of my products
which I have more than 50 today.
The world is changing, especially in my country 🙁
All the materials that I use in production
have increased in price by more than 2 times.
The main component that I use is high-quality liquid plastic.
It has increased in price by 5 times compared to 2022.
The production of a set has become unprofitable 🙁
I have to warn you about the 20 % price increase for all my products
starting from October 1st.
The prices in the catalog will be specified in Euros.

September 21, 2025 at 6:49 pm #249401Sergey, I am sorry to hear that. Our world politics are horrible right now. I love your products, and buy most of them from AHS. I hope your cooperation with Russ continues, and my prices might increase, but keep your products coming!
Russ, if you are listening… please, please, if you can keep the Druz products stocked, do it for us, you, and Sergey!
I don’t always say “Proceed as requested”
But when I do, it is because I have no clue what you just said.September 22, 2025 at 3:17 am #249406I would continue to ship my products
to Russell or anyone else in the USA.
But the problem is that
no country wants to deliver packages to the United States.

January 28, 2026 at 7:28 am #250785Hello friends!
In November Russian Post resumed delivery of parcels to the United States
marked as a gift with a value of less than $100.
In this case, you won’t have to pay the customs duty.
Since December 4th I have already sent a few small packages to the USA.
The small packet that was sent on December 15th
was received in the USA yesterday.
The shipment took 7 weeks 🙁
Since some logistics have already been done,
the delivery time will be shortened.
So shipping to the USA is possible now.
Here is my current catalog.
