Going to build the briannia old colours b757-200 useing flying colours sheet
So far built main body and wings filled and sanded down ready to add the little bits. Also adding bits misssing from the kit.

Also have a good book to help with this and pics i had taken long time ago.

Good luck with the build. My first attempt with the Zvezda 757-200 kit will be a freighter version in FedEx colors.

A great start! Please keep us posted on the progress. Those decals were designed to fit the Minicrap kit, I’m curious how they will fit on this much, much more accurate kit.

Minicrap! Very accurate description of their 757. Yet, the DC-8 and MD-81/82/83 are more than acceptable 🤔

After few weeks of sanding and making the new bits have now been added just engines to work on then on to painting

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is no chance whatsoever that any decal designed to fit around the nose or tail of the MC kit comes anywhere close to fitting the same areas of the Zvezda kit. Not even close. Utterly and completely different shapes.

I am going to be trimming then down in sections have also got lots of extra bits left from old sheets to patch up and bits that needs to be going to be some work but should look good when done

The problem is that the curves where all those parallel horizontal stripes wrap around the nose and the tail will not come out right because of the radically different shapes. You’ll have a very hard time fixing that.
