Believe or not, Austrian did it again!
It’s unbelievable how airlines these days manage to degrade their already boring liveries to look even more boring. So lets wait for the next Lufthansa livery iteration in one year …

One looks like another, fully replaceable.
Just like the management…..Because AUSTRIAN is meanwhile part of Lufthansa the reason is to adjust AUSTRIAN
in the same boring way as the mother company.
And if Lufthansa really takes over Alitalia we know in advance how Alitalia will look like…
I hope that will NEVER (!!!) happen!Sven

April 20, 2018 at 7:42 pm #154070Love the tail swoosh, hate the larger titles. The new tail swoosh with the old titles and little logo behind the nose would look a lot classier to my eyes. Just my own opinion.

April 20, 2018 at 9:53 pm #154071As much as I hate to say it (and I really do hate to say it….) I think we are going to have to get used to what airline paint schemes look like now and in the immediate future. Maybe eventually we will see more elaborate schemes, but for now “Euro white” rules the day…

April 20, 2018 at 9:55 pm #154072Don’t love it, don’t hate it, but it does evoke a “Meh”. My only complaint of this rather sterile scheme, is that the lower fuselage red arch should match the tail arch.
The original iteration of this evolving scheme, with the shadows under the logo and the pale blue accents, at least had more visual interest. With this latest variation, there is very little visual distinction between Austrian and Swiss now. Sad.
