Add water on the runway you’ve got yourself a formula for an accident. BTW, the only known remains of a Sikorsky S-38 rest at the bottom of Manokwari Bay, about 100 feet deep. There are several other wrecks, including ships, from WW II resting in the sea there. Last year, the hotel we stayed at made the news when it colapsed in an earthquake.
