Many of you may already know that Tony Eastwood, proprietor of AJ Aviation passed away a few weeks ago. Tony was an Airliner enthusiast first and foremost. Magazines such as Propliner and many fleet and Airliner production books were produced by Tony and others over the past 40 or so years. The AJ shop in West Drayton,two miles from Heathrow will close in a few months .
I visited today and they have started a major sale on with a 50% discount on all kits , decals and accessories and 25% off books. They have quantities of historic Airliner decals ( ATP, Flightpath etc) as well as kits ( they found three cases of Airfix B707’s in their lock up ), as well as quantities of Minicraft 1/144 airliners .
If you’ve ever visited the shop you know it was a cornucopia of all things aviation .
