Beautiful photos. Thank you for sharing. Telford is definitely on my bucket list. Maybe a silly question. Are the photos of 3 different special interest groups? Airliner, Civil Aviation, and Airport, Aerodrome, and Airfield? If yes, then the answer is “funny” as the planes in each are group are pretty much all airliners 🙂

November 16, 2025 at 12:37 pm #250091Quadra puffs? I’m assuming Bae 146’s. I like the term but please elaborate more on the “nickname”. 🙂

November 16, 2025 at 1:06 pm #250093Yeah, “Quadra-puff” is one of many nicknames for the 146. Others include “Bring Another Engine,” “Mini Galaxy,” “One dead, have four, need 6,” and others that are not printable.

November 18, 2025 at 7:49 am #250131Yes, there were three distinct groups displaying commercial aviation subjects in the main hall area. Not sure why they aren’t combined, but as separate SIGs they spread the joy a little more effectively. Was surprised there weren’t more airliners in the competition however, but the ones that were there were all very nice.
