40 Years of the A320 in Commercial Service

Hello Fellow Airliner Modellers,

For those of you who have visited the Scale Model World model show in the UK that takes place annually in November, you might have noticed that there is usually one special display that focuses on a particular theme, a display of models which is particularly large in size. Most of the themes have been military orientated.

But now, the Airliner Special Interest Group (S.I.G) UK has secured space for the special display in 2028 to celebrate 40 years of the A320 family in commercial service.

The SIG is planning to put on a very large display of A318, A319, A320 & A321 models, both CEO and NEO in all scales.

It is not a requirement to be a member of the Airliner SIG to display models and therefore anyone is welcome to display made models.

Although the display is some years away, we are already planning and really want to see modellers in the UK and beyond contributing to the display.

So, if you have A320 family models that you want to display at the show in November 2028, be it old or newer builds, then please do get in touch with details of the built models or models that you intend to build for the display.
