1/144 PW4460 for MD-11?

Hello, I am considering a start on my MikroMir MD-11 kit but I am desperate for PW4460 engines, which were supposed to be released by Eastern Express or MikroMir but without a timeline.

I have the Welsh vacform ones but they are too fiddly to work, I also have the Braz ones but they are not up to his recent gorgeous standards (777 and TriStar engines).

Aside from Braz, is there any producer selling them as accessories? Druz144 perhaps?

i think Druz canceled it due to EE’s anouncment to release the PW version, but who knows when or if this ever happens. i still hope he s gonna make them…

Hello friends,

My schedule of releases is already fixed for the next couple of months

I will try to release PW 4000 for MD-11 sometime in July
provided EE does not release the promised set with them before.

Maybe I’ll release PW 4000 for A 310 at the same time.

Oooooooo Sergey!!! Please…pretty please…will you get to work on those PW 4000s for the MD-11?!?!?!?? I’ve just finished a couple of projects soon to post, and was thinking of commencing to build an Eastern Express MD-11 that requires PW engines…I am most willing to wait for yours…think you’ll have them by July????

Damn. Then I will have to plan much more budget for a few more MD11s and for these PW engines from druz. Will be my first ones. They always look fatastic in evrey photo or visualisation.

Hi Sergei! Can’t wait until you’re finished! I’m planning to use mine for a Micro Mir kit finished in the older “chocolate stripe” Swissair livery. Custom decals were made for me by F-DCAL. So ready to use them, but I’m waiting for you to finish the P&W engines.

Mine will be China Airlines MD-11 with V1 decal😜 This is one beautiful livery. BTW anybody out there will bring us UPS MD-11 decals??
