Some sad news shared by Thomas Lewis on FB that Randy Auble passed away in July.
Randy was a self-labelled "lurker" on Airlinercafe but still an active member if that makes sense. I first met him at the Columbus Airliners International show where among other things he brought a Masterkit 757 which was both rather warped and impressive. He and I also shared a strong interest in very small scale airliner models.

Glad to have known you Randy. You will be missed.

Sad news. Just found out that one of our non-Facebook modelers and longtime friend, Randy C. Auble, from Indianapolis, passed away in July from cancer. Randy was an avid airline modeler, had a huge collection of kits (including at least 6 Otaki L-1011's), and frequently attended airline collectible shows in the Midwest, Airliners Int'l conventions, and often had a table to sell off kits. His passing is a great loss.
