Who from the Bay Area wants to get together on Sunday, October 3 in the afternoon or evening in the South Bay for coffee/beers and shooting the breeze? I'll be in town for a wedding that week and would like to see people who are in the area. Ken? Ahmed? Anybody else? If the 3rd is no good, let's think of some other options.

Sweet! Thoughts on which part of town/venue? I'm thinking anywhere in Santa Clara, Campbell, Sunnyvale, Cupertino are all options.

I'm easy on the venue/location. Ahmed? Anyone else? Given a choice outdoors would be good too.

I'm down for whatever, outside in a pub or grill in someone's yard all work for me. My Seattle self will probably think the bay is super warm anyway

I'm in the east bay, so how about somewhere in the middle like Fremont or Milpitas?

Pick a place at McCarthy Ranch. No garlic or tomatoes for me so Italian is out. Looks like there's also a Panera in Fremont on Auto Mall Parkway too.

That'll work, or we can meet at the In-n-Out at McCarthy Ranch and sit at the tables outside.

Has anyone been to the McCarthy Ranch In n Out recently? Only reason I ask is that the SJC one has gotten crazy busy with 30 minute drive through wait times.

Nope, I've not been to CA at all since before the rona. I'm not super picky, so we could meet up and then if it's too busy we can call an audible and go somewhere else.

I’ll be following this! I’ve got to be near SMF the morning of Oct 4 for work…. That is unless there’s a shutdown…

1600 is best for me as I work till 1500. If people do want to bump up the time I can still show up late closer to 1600.

Gubmint shutdown or CA 'rona shutdown?

I could probably do 1500-1800, so if we need to have some offset, that should work!
