Eastern Express have produced some utter rubbish (if there was a prize for the worst model airliner kit their A318 would be a finalist) and I won't be buying the Short 330 until somebody whose opinion I trust says it's worth spending money on.

A 360 would be nice. There was more 360´s build than the 330.
Linjeflyg(SE) CV440 Metropolitan and AeBal B717 would be very nice! |

Yeh ! The A318 had the WTB fairings totally wrong. Supposed to be assymmetrical, didn't turn out that way. Among other things.

Quote Yep - some! But not in general. Not all EE kits are TRASH. Especially those ones which are repacked under Amodel label. E.g. Tupolev 134, Antonov 14, 28, 24 etc. All same molds - perhaps molds done by third company. Quote Yep! A 360 would be GGGRRREEEAAATTT!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe on EE's future to-do list. Haven't seen the 330 sprues yet. Possibly the 330 is convertible into a 360?????? With some effort. Sven |

Hi All. I have just received my sample Shorts 330 kit from EE and initial impressions are good, it seems to be on a par with their IL-18 kit. Sprue pics will follow later. All the best Ray All the best |

Speaking of the Shorts 330, does anyone have an idea on what decals I could use to do a 1/72 United Commuter 330 circa 1980?

Michael, Get in touch with Mika Jernfors at Arctic Decals. He did an amazing job doing 1/72 scale decals for my Time Air (first to fly) SD-330: http://www.arcticdecals.com/projects Happy Modelling! Rik |
