Are there any decal producers who forseeably might consider doing a sheet of Modern Air's final scheme (hockey stick) for the Convair 990. Just seems to me this would have already been offered by now but, to my knowlwdge, it hasn't, while the earlier "Silver Palace' sheet has been done more than once. Anyone else out there itching for this? Thanks.

Sign me up for a sheet of the final scheme as well. Only two schemes and only the original one is available. If you ever get the chance I recommend Morten Beyer's autobiography Flying Higher. He was President of Modern Air Transport.

Just like in 2015 I'll chime in and ask about this sheet as well. Definitely would like one.

      Hello all,

I would like to see a "Hockey Stick" Modern Air decal too. My best friend's dad used to be a Check Captain for Modern Air on the 990. Many said it was (at the time) the fastest airliner...in cruise...and on approach:-)

BTW, A GOOD 990 in large scale would make my year...Kurt...Please????

      Cheers,

      Dan

Interesting how most modelers prefer the larger scale kits.

I would like to see this one and many of the older airliners in a good 1/200 scale.

I am sure if Hasegawa stepped beyond their making kits of only airliners of Japan they would be quite successful, unless I am they only one who prefers these smaller space saving kits.

Anyway the C-133 was always a unique AF aircraft along with some others from that era. The video on the final C-133 flight was interesting to watch.
