Hello Folks, Took me almost 12 years and few months of delay to original schedules to finish Dc-8 JT3 and JT4 engine master. Hope it won't take as long to cast them! ;-) ![]() ![]() Finished also B777 PW, GE and older RR engine cowlins. ....but until I'll not be able to have a copy of future release Zvezda B777-300er kit, won't be able to make a perfect pylon fit to wing. Cheers, Ivo |

Hi Ivo, I think you forgot to mention another DC8 kit (well this kit is not officially announced to be available yet, but will be soon), though I don't know the fitting as well. Kurt |

Quote Greetings! From the looks of them, if the scale size is correct, the JT4A should work just fine for a -21, -31, -32 or -33. The JT3C, being smaller, is for a series -11/-12. In order to build any -40 series, the size of the chin scoop is narrower and the rear cowling and the reverser and ejector cutout shape are round where the shape on the JT4A is more squared off. Although it would be difficult to do this perfectly for parts this small, the pylon on the inboard engines curves noticeably inward where it attaches to the wing underside as it extends rearward, so since the ejector rail has to extend straight back, the pylon has an increasingly outward cant to it as it goes rearward. This makes for a very complicated shape. To understand it, you would need to look at photos. Regards, Jeff Jarvis God's "Curse" to aviation! |

That looks promising. I do have your 787 engines which look great as well, but I haven't put them together yet. By the way, if you decide to make a cockpit cabin for the 777, I am interested as well. |

Andrew, Zvezda kit comes with GE-90-115 (huge massive engines). These are good for a B777-300ER or B77-200LR or B777-200F. All others, B777-200/ER and B777-300(sans suffix) require one of the “smaller” engines: GE-90-94, RR Trent 800 or PW4090. Hope this helps. Ivo |

Hi Ivo, I am very pleasured about your 772 engines. When I want to preorder them on your homepage, the shopping cart always shows Boeing 737 Cfm 56B engines, not the GE 90, PW 4000 or Trent 800 engines, maybe you can correct this enabling me to make my preorder for Telford. Thanks Ortwin |

I'll have a couple from you too but can't guarantee I'll be at Telford, maybe I'll just have to buy them later. They look great and can't wait to see them in the resin. Jeff |
