Hopefully not, because he doesn't deliver. Search the forums.

One of the keys to a successful "con" is the "shill". This is the guy who says "I got mine with no problem, you can trust this vendor, he delivers on his promises". I don't know who this Al Lees is, but willing or not, he is the shill in the con. The decades-old con game by Alexander and the original "boys from Brazil" couldn't last as long as it has without a shill to show it can be done.

I was a shill for awhile myself. While writing my modeling column for the WAHS "Captains Log" for 12 years, I received great service from Geo/Brazil Decals. In fact, I was Geo's sixth customer on eBay. That went down hill fast when I retired. So buy from whoever you want, but be cautious.

BTW, I'll be selling a number of original Brazil and Geo decals, some of which even Al hasn't listed, on eBay soon.

You don't know who 'this Al Lees' is? A simple private message to him would have solved the mystery and he would have enlightened you of the facts. The facts being that the majority of my Brasil Decals were bought from Hannants here in the UK, who were the sole distributors for Brasil Decals until Gio became so unreliable that Hannants dropped him and he was compelled to sell privately on eBay. After a couple of successful purchases I, like many others, was stung and ceased buying from him.

When his re-branded Giodecals appeared on eBay, I bought several sheets from him until, again, the familiar pattern of not receiving what I had paid for manifested itself, an experience shared by so many here at the Cafe. I have uploaded all the decals I bought from him to this website but I am by no means alone. Many other members, notably Kengooroo, have uploaded their Brasil/BDecal/Giodecals to the database. As duplicate uploads aren't accepted, I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the members own as many of these decals as I do if not more, therefore your assertion that I am the sole stooge in this con would appear to be somewhat misplaced.

Al, I never said you were alone. I too was involved, actually at one point recommending Brazil Decals to my readers - but that was almost a quarter century ago. The con still lingers, even if the address has changed.

I'm always puzzled, how many decals did "they" actually make of each design? A few, a couple dozen, perhaps a hundred? Enough to satisfy the initial demand, and then swindle all the other buyers? Wouldn't it be easier to just sell what you had available and decline sales to the rest? An interesting business model to say the least, worthy of a Harvard Business School review.
