Anybody notice that Eastern is flying again? If I could figure out how to upload photos to this forum, I'd post a pic of their 737-700 landing at MCO !

And People Express lasted from June to September of last year.....Not out of the picture yet but not looking good either.

For uploading photos one has to first upload them to your personal file then link the message to the photo in your file.

      This thread may be helpful....

The new Eastern had a big gala arrival for its first 737-800 in Miami last month - got a lot of coverage online and elsewhere. IIRC, the plan is to start with charter operations to the Caribbean and then slowly get into scheduled service from there. I'm hoping the top folks at Eastern have learned the lessons of other start-ups and will avoid the mistakes (and, frankly, over-optimism) of other attempts to relaunch old names. I wish them a lot of luck.

The "new" Eastern isn't using exactly the same type style for the titles as the original did. They need help..

Here's the "NEW" Eastern Airlines 737-800

BTW, we also had a quick reincarnation not too long ago of the PAN AM billboard on a 737.
Can TWA be far behind ?
