Figure I might as well do a blurb as well. The venue is DCA airport and the dates are July 11-14th.

If the August temps in Phoenix are too high for you try the Washington DC humidity in July

Seriously if time and money weren't in short supply I'd attend both events.

The model contest/show is a definite go. Tours are to be announced soon. Both Smithsonian Air Museums are nearby and are MUST SEES.

Just like the IMPS nationals... I've been trying since I was a kid to go to Airliners International. I remember seeing the Advertisement in "Airliners" Magazine. Wonder if there's a way I can make it a "business" expense....

Class-action lawsuit for faulty advertising because a manufacturer fraudulently sold you 1:147 as 1:144

Thanks, Ken. I'm building an entry as we speak, stabbing and slicing my fingers as I go. I have a new favorite brand of essential modeling supplies- Band Aid.

Hope to meet a bunch of you here in DC! I should be there with models of my own. Having lived in Tucson, I can attest that DC, particularly downtown, or Alexandria, is visually interesting--and walkable, even in the heat. Who knows? Maybe it'll be a cool summer.
