I was reading an old thread on the EE Dash 8, and followed the link to the PAS forum. Seems a new page has been added:

      http://www.pas-decals.ru/forum/novosti/1078-novinki-vostochnyj-ekspress?start=270

If you scroll down to the bottom, seems they are doing a Fokker F-27.500 (with a clear fuselage in the test shot at least) and continuing the DC-9 family with a B717...

The newer offerings from EE are quite impressive, unlike their earlier product.

Boy, I hope they don't cast the F-27 in clear plastic! That would be brittle and difficult at best.

      Cheers,

Of course they're releasing a 717. I just started building the PAS Resin kit!

I'm in the middle of EE's Short 330, and it is going together very well. It's been an enjoyable build, so far. I'm looking forward to their 360 and Dash-8. Maybe they'll continue their commuters with a Beech 1900 series.

Very glad to see an injection-mold 717 coming out. Looks very crisp from the photos. It's something I would have expected Revell Germany to have produced by now.

The 717 wasn't a bestseller, not widely used and production ceased.
Same as MD-11. A more or less niche plane. Not interesting for Revell.
Revell focus on well-known planes e.g. A320 to ensure sales.
(Therefore they never launched a kit of heavy space cruiser ORION
from the scifi TV-show "SPACE PATROL" - not even for the 50th anniversary!
I asked Revell - to unknown, too less expected sales. Too bad!)

A320 is a bestseller not even for Airbus but for Revell too.
That's why they release the A320 kit over and over again in 10˟ different schemes.
I think 3 liveries on the market at the moment....

It's great EE has a different business philosophy and come up with
such kits and hope they will continue their commuter aircraft line too!
Beside a Beech-1900 I would vote for SAAB-340 (the Welsh kit is meanwhile hard to find),
      SAAB-2000, BAe(HS)-748....👍
