Hasegawa released a version of their 1/200 767-300ER kit with winglets within the past year + or - which by all accounts was actually produced, in JAL (#10812) and ANA (#???) versions. It seems as though said kit was 'here today, gone tomorrow'...almost literally...and cannot be found anywhere in the U.S.

So what happened to these kits? Was the production run extremely limited? Is there anywhere they can be found in the U.S. for at or near the 'suggested retail price' at the time they were released and briefly for sale from conventional sources?

      Regards,

Most of those type of releases are very limited, so when you see it you better buy it, or else you'll be out of luck. I'd be extremely surprised if any distributor outside of Japan even knew about the release, much less ordered, very much less ever received any.

Your best bet is to just try eBay, or possibly HLJ.

The Aviation Megastore did have them, though. Not that it's of any help for Todd..

Also, not helpful at this point, but I do remember seeing one of the ANA ones at a hobby shop here in the States, but I can't recall where at this point. It was several months ago. So, at least a few made it across the Pacific...

Backordered at HLJ...but it can still be had if you can add it to the cart, I'd hope.

This is a bummer I've noticed too. I have 2 of them, already done in ANA(for the 1000th 767) and WestJet. Looking for more, but seems to only be available for ridiculous prices. I can get a Gemini diecast for cheaper!! Hopefully Hasegawa sees this and produce more...
