I have nine new DC-9 decal sheets available. They are:

      Delta DC-9-14 (Delivery colors)
TWA DC-9-14 and -15 (Delivery colors)
      Eastern DC-9-14 (Delivery colors)
      Hawaiian Airlines DC-9-15 (Delivery colors)
      West Coast DC-9-14
Hughes Airwest DC-9-14 and -15 (sheet contains correct shiny silver mylar windows)
Air West DC-9-14 (Goldenrod and Red variation)
Air West DC-9-14 (Green and Blue)
Air West DC-9-14 (Blue and Mustard)

In addition, Iíve also made some updates to the Continental DC-9-14 (Delivery colors) sheet.

The decals are available in 1/144, 1/120 (for the Revell kit) and 1/72 (for the Atlantis / Aurora kit). Plus, all ten sheets come with newly designed 3D cockpit and passenger windows!

Also being released is a new cockpit window vinyl paint mask for the 1/72 Atlantis / Aurora DC-9.

Images and prices are up on my website, www.vintageflyerdecals.com and from the Vendors page.

      Thanks,

      Mike

      Very nice!

If I could be so bold as to throw my hat into the ring, I would LOVE to see a Republic Airlines late "Herman The Duck" scheme for a -50 series aircraft!!!

Cheers and thanks for supporting our hobby.

      Hi Mike,

I would like to purchase your Air West DC-9 decals if you can provide me with enough registration to build their -30s as well. Also any plans to make them fit the AA DC-9 kits??

I'm working on a set of Air West DC-9-30 decals as I write this. The sheet will include the correct number of windows for the -30 series birds.

Also, watch for a Herman the Duck -50 as well.

I just ordered an Authentic Airlines DC-9 kit, so I'll be issuing a set of decals specifically fit for the kit very shortly.

      Hi Mike,

Very nice! Do they rather fit on a Airfix or Fly DC-9? Or doesn't it any matter?

      Thanks,

      Paolo

Any chance of getting Hawaiian decals in this DC-9 scheme?

Exactly. And, those old ones may not fit the AA kit. Many Hawaiian DC-9s carried names, as well, which the older decals don't have.

      Hi Bob,

You might want to check with Ray at 26decals if he still has those Hawaiian DC-9 decals in stock.
