Hi there, anyone got any accurate visual specs (i.e. 3 view etc) on the new Beluga XL?

They are basing it on the A330-200F but the Airbus specs of the Beluga XL don't match the A330-200F specs.

      Many thanks

My best guess is it shouldn't after all the A300-600ST specs don't match the A300-600R specs. Fitting in the "step down" Cockpit would have a lot to do with it in each case.

From memory (so like Murray Walker I could be completely mistaken) too I read in one article that the cross sectional area has been increased so no point in cutting up a couple of Revell Beluga kits and a Revell A330 kit.

      There you go :

      http://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/airbus-beluga-xl-new-design/index.html

"However, the BelugaXL measures 6 meters longer and 1 meter wider, offering 30% more capacity."

Murray Walker I'm not (yet anyway!).
