      Lufthansa presents its "new flagship"
A350 in FRA tomorrow at Gate A50
      between 12:30 and 13:30.

Have an off day tomorrow but will be at the airport.
      Definitely!
Hope I can take a few good pics...
Just do not forget the safety vest

      Enjoy Sven!

Indeed -- if you have direct access to the plane, please take care for the wing colors top/bottom/winglet and see if you note the difference in all of these "50 shades of white" ))

D-AIXA is supposed to be in Hamburg on 9 February, 12:00-17:00 LT, will try every effort to catch her there )

      Cheers,
      Christian

Lucky you Sven! Please be sure to take a few dozen close-up photos for the Walkarounds section. That would be awesome.

The answer to the paint color question was in LH's in-flight mag last month, it's a light gray of some sort. Let me dig it out.

Unfortunately it wasn't possible to go
on the ramp and make a walkaround.
The gate was very very bussy a lot of collegues and
      other people there.

      Only a cabin visit...
But have taken some pics from the gate.
It's right! The wing isn't white on top and
Lufthansa grey below as on all others in the fleet.
      But the wing isn't white!
The entire wing included pylons are very very light grey!
Airbus grey? I would say close to Revell 371.
That's why no color transition between underwing and winglet!

      Hi Christian,

maybe you're lucky and have a better access
      for walkaround pics here?
      Have fun and enjoy!
      The "Racoon" is really amazing!
In real 1.000% more than on any pic.

When I flew HEL-SIN last year, AY had just started flying the a350 to Asia. The a340 I was on was parked right next to the a350. What a bird she is!! The wings are very impressive.
