      Hi

A few years ago there was talk that PAS were very thick and resistant to decal solution. I had google translate run a thread on a Russian forum where a guy with a done 737 was pleased with them and refered them from what I understood "the new generation PAS",

Has anyone tried newer PAS (or older) decals and can share some views.. Was there an apparent step-up in quality ? PAS gas got some nice subjects but I don't want to dive in if they are substandard quality.

      Thanks for any input.

      Matt

      Hy Matt,

I'm working on a B777 Air New Zeeland with PAS decals. They are good and nice to work with.
The only thing are the colors. On this special livery they do not fit to the original and I have to make masks from the decals and airbrush them on.
So I can recommend them, but take care of the colors.

      regards Florian

I did my B777-300ER with PAS Etihad decals.
Its is easy to work with them.
Bigger surfaces are not so really pretty, because of the printer lines, you can notice them. For me it was ok, other would airbrush bigger areas.
For the coloured decals additional white decals where included as a base.
Unfortunately these decals had not the same size. The white surfaces where about 105% more. So a little tricky to use.

Finally it is ok to use them. The general match is perfect. The decal paper is fine. Only the printing has its issues.
      It is not Cartograph.
      :-)
I will buy them in the future!

      Uwe

Hope I could make myself understood. Technical english is sometimes not so easy... :-)

      Hy Mat,

I'm doing the all blacks with the leaf on
here you can see what the color looks like.

the white windscreen was a test to see how the white looks like on the black background.
