My kit just arrived from Airline Hobby Supplies. It looks pretty nice on the sprues. Maybe they'll release a 360, too!

As it appears the news didn't reach this forum, but in early February there was some leakage from sources close to Eastern Express. Some of the new EE kits in 1/144 for 2017.

And already in stores (I hope will be release of civil version of Yak-24A in Aeroflot colors)

      WOW!!!!!
      What good news!!!!
Think I have to increase my budget for 2017 significantly.
      Originally, saving was announced....

The only YAK-24 kit (Whom I have ever known)
was the YAK-24P 1/100 scale from my childhood.

Was the YAK-24P ever in AEROFLOT's scheduled passenger service?
Never saw a single photo in AEROFLOT livery.

Actually Yak-24A has never been in the passenger service, there were only two experimental machines. But 40 military-transport versions of Yak-24 were built.

A buddy of mine started his career on the 360. He's now F/O on a T7F
with FedEx. I've already built that one for him. Now, we can get back
      to the beginning!

We shared ramp space in KCLT with CCAir's 360s and Jetstreams. I'll be adding one of each to my Piedmont fleet.

CCAir, my gosh that brings back memories.

There was ORF based Piedmont captain, who had a one man band who sang so "eloquently" of CCAir's Shorts in some his songs... cart donkeys, honey carts and tail stands, but I digress...

It sounds like Piedmont had some real characters flying for them.
