Spirit Airlines have received their first Airbus A320NEO. Check out these beautiful photos by Suresh Atapattu http://www.atapattu.net/Special-Projects/First-Spirit-Airlines-A320NEO/ I think it's a really nice-looking plane with those huge engines.

Was lucky enough to fly on a Lufthansa A320 NEO two weeks ago. Incredible how quiet is is compared to the older brother...

      Hi Ivo,

Any plans for some PW 1100 or CFM Leap engines from you for the Zvezda or Revell kit ?

      Cheers,

Yesterday I watched Lufthansa's NEO-320 take off roll for the first time at view point of Frankfurt's Rwy 18.
Incredible how silent this new bird is!
Especially compared to it's older sisters, screaming their way into the sky before and after.

I saw D-AINC last month as well in HAM, very quiet indeed. Unfortunately, I was boarding the plane next door

Surely Toulouse would disagree with that statement!!!

Great pictures and a great colour scheme.

Have all the info for a "perfect" NEO resin conversion set but I prefer to wait for the plastic kit....

It'll come eventually. Too many liveries out there not to do a neo for one of the big kit companies.

The plane looks great, but I absolutely loathe Spirit's colors. Such a beautiful plane ruined by such an ugly yellow... Sorry to those who like the Spirit livery, it just isn't working for me...

Jan, knowing what will be out on the market one or two years before is one of the advantages of my job....

Pretty obvious object for Revell I guess
with Lufthansa being launch customer on the NEO
plus not many modifications need to be done to the existing model ...

A cheap money maker for Revell.

      Cheers,
      Christian
