This image was seen in the background of photos of a North Korean military air show last week. Haven't seen this one before. Anyone got any recent shots of their Il-62Ms?

      Scott,
that is interesting, especially because the "opposite side" as you call it shows a TU-154 instead of the IL62 that Jennings referred to!

They indeed seem to experiment with new colors as also their AN-148 P-672 is operating in some similar interim scheme:

Oops! Bugger me Christian - so it does.

I was concentrating on the livery in question, and forgot about the canvas...

Good find with the An-148 BTW!

Check out new You Tube (9/29) video by Sam Chui, Wonsan Air Festival Highlights. Shows nearly every Air Koryo aircraft in the new
color scheme in Hi-Def. Great take off, fly-by, and landing footage.

      Thanks for sharing Rodger,
that is an amazing display that Sam was able to capture and a very surprise to see them all repainted!

When I watch this video I am taken on a trip down memory lane when Germany re-united and I had the once in a lifetime chance to venture-out onto the ramp in Berlin Schönefeld on reunification day - 3 October 1990 - officially allowed to take photos of every Interflug aircraft (Tu134, IL18, IL62, A310) including all the Interflug Mil Mi 8 on a very sunny day.

The unique sound of these aircraft alone makes me goose bumps.

Its time to work on Zvezda's IL62M with Jennings amazing decals!

      Cheers and thanks,
      Christian
