Knowing the Zvezda quality I believe itīs going to be very nice model. Iīve already built one Trumpeter kit with BraZ engines in Iraq Airways livery and have A-Model IL-76 in 1/72 waiting for building. But the Il-76 is so gorgeous plane that I can make a third one too. Hope it will available soon.
Attention all after market decal makers: Please, Air Koryo decals for this beauty.

      Looks GORGEOUS!
According 3D images seems to become another ZVEZDA Ultimate Kit
with extended flaps & slats and open cargo bay with ramp!

      Just GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! GREAT!
      ...albeit with years of delay...

It seems a little premature but development costs time, so aftermarket guys like Small Stuff, surpise us with PS-90A engines and fuselage extension parts to make it a long one.

I see two different variants in their drawings. One of them shows the rear gunner seat, but the other one shows the 'smooth tail'. Any confirmation on whether you can interchange the tails? Thanks for the info, I'm just beginning to build the Trumpeter kit and would like some other reference to compare it to.

Drew, after using Google Translate, the caption with the renderings reads:

"More detailing planned mechanization of the wing and the cargo compartment, as well as - civilian and military embodiment of the aft turret."

      So yes, optional tail pieces!

      Scott.
