When did Pan Am discontinue application of "Pan Am" titles on the upper and lower wings of their 707s? (ie, is the decal included in Minicraft's Pan Am 707 kit [early style "Pan Am" fuselage titles] correct in omitting wing titles?...or is it just another MC kit decal that comes oh-so-close to getting it right?...besides providing a non-existent PA 707 registration)

I think it went away with the 1970 repaint. I built models in the 1962 and 1966 colors, both had the titles. That would suggest that MC messed up.

Think the wing titles disappeared with appearance of 747 - about 1970.
      But not 100% sure...

Actually I was the one who 'messed up'... by referring to '1958 style fuselage titles' when describing the early version (~1970-'72) of shortened "Pan Am" fuselage titles...which are of the same font as the "Pan American" titles introduced in 1958. So it would appear that Minicraft got it right by omitting wing titles from their Pan Am 707 kit decal featuring early style "Pan Am" fuselage titles.
